The study begins with a look at why Christianity is important and moves on to discuss the history of the Bible from its beginning to its translation into English in the 14th century A.D. Lessons 2 and 3 survey the material of the Old and New Testaments. Lesson 4 surveys the life of Jesus in a historical way, looking at the different periods of Jesus' ministry and significant events and teachings during those periods. Lesson 5 looks specifically at Jesus' concept of the Church and its importance and significance. Lesson 6 focuses on the subject of Salvation: What does it mean? Why is it important? How is it received? Lesson 7 focuses on the kind of lifestyle required by Christianity, and lesson 8 deals with the purpose and procedure of Christian worship.

Who We Are
The Church of Christ is a non-denominational fellowship of Christians over two hundred years old in the U.S.  We have no human governing body, and yet our 13,000 congregations throughout the United States are remarkably similar in organization, beliefs and practice.  The Bible is our sole official statement of belief.  Our mission works extend throughout the world and though our Universities are equally independent, they number nearly a dozen throughout the United States.  There are additionally scores of private schools and relief organizations.

Amazing Grace International is a ministry devoted to a better understanding of the Bible.  Since 1993, we have been offering Bible courses throughout the United States, advertising in the newspaper USA TODAY.  We have students in every State and currently, in over a dozen foreign countries.  Our internet presence began mid-year in 2005.

Amazing Grace International is directed by Mike Tune who also serves as the Senior Minister for the Church of Christ in Falls Church, VA.
